In 185 AD early astronomers observed a burst of light in the heavens that lasted for 8 months.  The light from this supernova was ancient by the time these observers saw the celestial marvel.  It took 10-20 thousand years to reach earth and light up our sky.  Inspired, Fine Art Watercolorist Darlene Gentry Lucas created this painting, appropriately called "Ancient Starlight."  Wear this beautiful image as a reminder that even when the world seems dark, we are surrounded by the starlight of the ages.
